Building on the success of their leadership programme our client recognised that the financial industry is going through a sustained period of significant change and many competitors are exhibiting signs of low resilience; resistance to change, fractured relationships and low levels of confidence and pride in the organisation. Our client wanted to gain advantage by remaining energised, fully focused on achieving ambitious goals, with the courage to look beyond how we do things today.
800+ people from all departments of the bank were trained over 2 years in our modular team resilience programme. Rolled out during significant change across 4 locations required both face to face and digital delivery. It’s outputs allowed them to “fundamental change the way in which they work together and enabled them to build a people-driven and client-focused model for the future”.
So, what was the impact?
“I have seen a much stronger self-awareness from my team members that have been through the resilience training. A growing willingness to tackle head on difficult issues and growing recognition that life is full of compromises and negotiations. The key aspect of the training has been the strength analysis and the growing appreciation that it takes different types of people to make a great team. It has been a “Damascene” conversion for some of them! ”
A lasting and far-reaching impact.
In surveys conducted 3-24 months after their training employees were asked about the lasting impact the training has had. The results show that the training has had a significant impact with delegates reporting that:
